Tsuga canadensis, or Canadian Hemlock, are conifers native to moist slopes and valleys from eastern Canada to the southern Appalachian Mountains. 'Moon Frost' is a dwarf globe-shaped variety with new growth emerging bright white above older light green foliage that takes a blush of pink in winter. Grows well in well-draining soil with medium moisture in a partly shady location. Protect from strong drying winds. Intolerant of drought, be sure to water regularly.
