
Beta vulgaris, or Burpee's Golden Beet, is an extremely tender and sweet beet with bright orange globe-shaped roots that turn yellow when cooked and edible greens that are great sautéed. Sow seeds outdoors 4-6"apart in a sunny location as soon as spring soil has warmed. Sow seeds in two-week intervals for a continual harvest.
