
Daucus carota, commonly called Danvers Carrot, is an excellent producer of sweet and tender bright orange carrots. This variety fairs well in storage and will produce high yields in heavy clay soils! Direct sow seeds 1/4" deep outdoors as soon as spring soil is workable. Be sure to provide constant moisture for these slow to germinate seedlings. Sow seeds successively throughout the growing season for a consistent harvest.
