Cotoneaster dameria, commonly called Bearberry Cotoneaster, is a semi-evergreen shrub with low spreading branches that will root along the ground, making it an excellent ground cover. Small dark green waxy leaves are topped with white spring flowers, followed by bright red berries that persist into winter. Fall leaf color will change reddish-bronze to purple. Plant in well-draining soil in a sunny location.
