Cucumis sativus, commonly called Lemon Cucumber, is an extremely productive vine that produces lemon-like cucumbers that are excellent fresh or pickled! Grow on a trellis or use as a groundcover crop in a sunny location. Sow seeds 1" deep and 6-8" apart when using a trellis, you can also plant 6-8 seeds in a 12" hill and thin to 3-4 plants after germination. Be sure to supply steady moisture.
