
Physalis griseav, commonly called Ground Cherry, is an extremely productive plant with a sprawling growth habit and small sweet and tangy fruits enclosed in a papery husk.This variety of ground cherry has been passed through four generations of women since 1925. Start seeds indoors 6 weeks before the last frost, transplant outdoors to a sunny location 12-18" apart once the ground has warmed.
