Heuchera, commonly known as Coral Bells or Alumroot, is a beautiful mound-forming perennial with a vast array of colorful foliage. Hairy stems produce round lobed leaves from a central crown. Dainty bell-shaped flowers appear spring thru summer on tall stems above the dense foliage. Plant in well-drained soil in a shady to partially shady location. Many cultivars are tolerant of drought, but will appreciate regular watering especially in the first growing season.
