Hoya carnosa, also known as Porcelain Flower or Wax Flower, has long slender vines covered in waxy deep green leaves with occasional silvery white flecking. This plant will produce fragrant clusters of star shaped flowers.
Care: Plant in a chunky well-draining mix that consists of orchid bark, sphagnum or peat moss, perlite, and coarse vermiculite. Provide medium to bright light, a little easy morning sunshine will help encourage blooms. Water well once soil has dried completely. If water runs straight through, you may benefit from occasional bottom watering. Fertilize during spring and summer once every 2 to 3 weeks with a balanced diluted liquid fertilizer.
Available in 4" container.
