Cucumis melo, commonly called Amish Melon, is an annual vining heirloom muskmelon with a thick rind and flavorful juicy orange flesh. Sow 6-8 seeds outdoors in 12" diameter hills 6" apart once all danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed. After seedlings germinate, thin seeds to 3-4 plants.
