Brassica olercea, commonly called Tuscan Kale, Lancino Kale, or Dinosaur Kale, is an upright cold-hardy vegetable with strappy dark blue-green heavily crinkled leaves that sweeten after frost. Best when eaten young or after frost for a tender sweet flavor. Start seeds indoors six to eight weeks before the last frost then plant outside in a sunny location 24"apart just before the frost hits.
