Sedum, commonly known as Stonecrop, is a tough perennial with an upright bushy mound of fleshy foliage. In late summer, taller stems holding large clusters of soft flowers blanket the succulent leaves. Plant in a sunny location with plenty of drainage. To keep plants tidy, pinch back by half in June and trim to the ground in early spring.
