Ulmus parvifolia, commonly called Hokkaido Chinese Elm, is a tiny shrub by all forms of the meaning. Tiny twigs are lush with tiny leaves, forming a congested tiny shrub on a stocky trunk. Over time, the plant will develop thick corky bark, making this an excellent choice for bonsai training. Plant in a full to partial sun location in moist, well-draining soil.
